Grape Agate Sphere with Stand clear Please note that Ritual KitsGrape agate is the name given to this unique form of amethyst: a botryoidal (or grape like cluster) form of purple chalcedony. It is technically not a real agate as there is no banding. Discovered and introduced to the gem world in just 2016, it is only sourced from the Mamuju area of the western Sulawesi coast in Indonesia. In it's mineral form, grape agate appears in clusters, similar to that of grapes (hence the name), and comes in color variations
