This maiden release comes from 6. 5 hectares of Sangiovese owned by the Mazzei family, matured 50% new tonneaux and 50% in stainless steel, plus eight months in cement vat. mingling notes of citrus zest and orange oil with red apple
meaty tones do you notice the strongly floral aromas at the back
It's drinkable now
fresh flavors of dark plum
This may not make especially old bones in the cellar
this appears to have excellent underlying material and thus my score offers the benefit of the doubt
the phenolics are ripe and this should round out in time
