Hawaiian Village Hotel Pupu Bar, Waikiki, 1950sStanley Stubenberg was born in Hawaii on December 8 1925 and was a highly regarded commercial artist who created illustrations for menu covers that are still wonderfully fresh and charming today. He created many illustrated menus for the Hilton Hawaiian Village as well as the Reef Hotel and The Tropics. These six illustrations depicting the peril of drinking the Pupu Bar's signature cocktail The Zombie were part of a menu booklet used by the bar.
