North British 25 Year Old TBWC Batch 2 56.5% 50cl 2nd Fill SherrySo named after the railway company that serves the distillery, North British is the third largest grain distillery in Scotland. This 25 year old, bottled by That Boutique y Whisky Company, was distilled in Coffey stills corn and up to 20% malted barley making up the mash bill. Nose: Confectionary tropical scents. Foam bananas, desiccated coconut, pineapple and papaya. Palate: More tropical fruits on the palate, white chocolate and a little chilli

Palate : Entry is bittersweet

Palate: Some dryness at the very first moment is soon overtaken by some really exotic dried dark fruits

asparagus and cooked agave alongside orange peel and gentle cinnamon

Nose: Rich with a dark fruit and chocolate aroma

toasted oak and hints of late foam

the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 12 years - after which this complex combination of casks is exquisitely and expertly married together to create this vibrant single malt

Palate: The influence of the cask is at play from the front and sides of the palate

The blend also includes five- and six-year-old rums to add depth and textural richness
