Coxcomb Crib Quilt - Applique Brown decorThis is an exquisite antique Pennsylvania Coxcomb crib quilt, and original in size. Its is appliqu and reverse appliqu framed by a double pink border. The condition is excellent. It has had one gentle bath. No issues noted. This charmer is hand quilted and hand appliqud. A very elegant design was used in making this treasure. Note how the maker kept their points on the border and when doing the binding took some skill to finish the edge

This wonderful early Half Square Tirangles quilt set in a 4 block format keeps one looking at the many fantastic early fabrics

The backing  is a solid nile green of the 1930’s

This Leaf quit and the number of leaves on it

has some natural  binding wear
