Rare Antique 1918+ MZ Altrohlau CM-R Czechoslovakian Fine Porcelain Dinner Plate VintageThe firm of Altorhlau was established by Benedikt Hassler in 1810 as a Faience and Stoneware pottery producer. The name Altrohlau came from the Austrian town which was located in present day Stara Role near Karlovy Vary in Czechoslovakia. In 1823 the firm was acquired by August Novotny & Co and after 1836 the factory began to manufacture porcelain. In 1884 the company was sold to Moritz Zdekauer from Prague. This item is a red clay plate decorated with Greek mythological imagery and the Greek key along the rim
