Vasques de Carvalho, Vintage Port 2013 Laderas and the flinty minerality embuesThe Vasques de Carvalho, Vintage Port 2013 is a wine of deep red colour, concentrated and full of fruit. Produced with their best grapes, it shows huge potential for excellent ageing over the coming decades. On the nose and the palate it shows aromas of plum, blackberry and redcurrant, with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. it is powerful, with firm tannins and has a fresh final acidity.
