Description
Domaine, Heitz-Lochardet Vintage:2022(from Le Petit Clos). A fresher combination is comprised by notes of mostly white orchard fruit laced with hints of rosemary oil and lemon rind. There is a lovely sense of energy to the notably rich and tension filled larger scaled flavors that possess very good mid palate volume before concluding in a lingering if mildly warm finale. This should benefit from a few years of cellaring in order to develop a bit more overall depth.
This bottle of the 1996 is simply moving in its beauty
silky and salty-piquant Haut-Lieu is beautiful in its terroir expression that favors a fruitier
To describe this as an atypical 2017 would be an understatement as it’s ripe to the point of being particular
dusty tannins
It is finer
The wine is off-the-charts great
Readers who prefer more aromatic complexity might prefer to cellar the 2012 for another few years
An intensely earthy yet elegant red berry fruit nose trimmed in an appealing touch of minerality that continues onto the delicious
Chardonnay is from Cramant
The 2013 vintage is characterized by a slightly more streamlined mouthfeel (which isn't saying much given the baseline enormity of these wines) with carefully etched aromas of black cherry
The exceptionally rich but also strikingly intense broad-shouldered flavors exude both an abundance of dry extract as well as minerality
which is ripe and rounded
