The Balvenie 12 Year Old Sweet Toast of American Oak Scotch Whisky Size:750mlInspired to produce an even fruitier, sweeter Balvenie, Apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie had the bright idea to import Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky. After deep toasting them at The Balvenie Cooperage they were filled with Balvenie aged in ex bourbon barrels. The result is a delectably complex whisky with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla.

Alcohol: 18

The vineyards located at the Andes Mountain range foothills are uniquely planned relative to their terroir

finishing with crisp bite from the smoked chili’s and cardamom

but will have a long and gracious life in the bottle

Palate: Notes of sweet brown sugar and maple syrup dissolve into a sharp profile of green pepper and grass

and liquorice

and then ‘finished’ in casks that previously held Caribbean rum
