Fuel Quantity Indicator, B-47B Center Main Tank, Minneapolis-Honeywell JG7021A22 FJ-2Here is a Fuel Quantity Indicator as used in the US Air Force Boeing B 47B Stratojet Bomber for the 20,000 lb capacity Center Main fuel tank. See photo from the B 47B Flight Manual showing the location of this instrument. It has date stamp of January 1951 and Boeing tamper evidence seals, as well as a BAC order number (Boeing Aircraft Corp). It is in exceptional condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact.
