The firm was taken over by the Royal Doulton Group during the 1970’s and of their many patterns designed and produced some were transferred to the Royal Albert brand until the brand was discontinued by the Doulton Group

Besides the items having some wear on the black Bakelite bases underneath

Slight rubbing of the gold trim on both the items have occurred

Both items are decorated in pattern 8197 which depicts autumn colours of yellow
