The 17 Pounder Anti-Tank Gun was first proposed in early 1941 after the battle for France had shown that the armour thickness of tanks was increasing rapidly

The Mark III had more compact body

- two different types of spare wheel racks are offered

Since this is an open-topped vehicle

taking a swig from a water bottle or loading an ammo clip into a rifle were commonplace for soldiers
