The ground areas is filled with close crosshatch quilting. Someone that loved to quilt, I imagine, made this quilt. The tiny quilting stitches are 10 stitches per inch, so a talented quilter did the handwork. A circa 1890s Quilt that is in excellent condition and is ready to enjoy.
