Infant Christ - Item #25123. 5 Inches High x 15 Inches Wide x 10 Inches Deep This figure of Christ comes from the Altar of the Sacrament in the Basilica of San Lorenzo. The Medici family may have commissioned the Altar as it was originally located in the side chapel owned by the Medici. Today, this architectural and sculptural marvel is in the nave. At 12 feet high (144 inches high), the Altar is revered as one of the decorative masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance.
