A very rare and seldom acquired tiny silver plated salt scuttle with hinged lid and matching silver plated salt spoon

The company was established in 1948 in Hanley and ceased operations in 1956. The company also used the trade name Castlecliffe Ware. The sugar bowl is square in shape and depicts a ceramic cottage. The item is stamped underneath Westminster Hanley Staffs Made in England. The item has feint age related crazing, aside from which it is in good usable condition.
