Vintage Emess Silver Plated & Oval Shaped Pierced Dish With Ball Feet Enamelware In 1914 the brothers hadThe item is an oval shaped silver plate on brass dish with a beaded rim and Gothic patterned pierced metal verge. The dish also stands on four ball feet. EmEss was a trade name used by a silverware manufacturer in England until the 1960s, although a South African manufacturer on the South Coast used the trade name Em Ess until the 1970s. The dish is impressed underneath Plate Emess SP On B. The dish requires polishing and have feint surface scratches
