MA Arndorfer, Gruner Veltliner Strasser Weinberge 2020 Riesling The 13 hectare silty loamClassic Gruner Veltliner with an added twist from this innovative produce: Winemaker Martin Arndorfer has tempered Gruner's sharp edged acidity, rounding it off by giving the wine just the merest whisper of oak: some of the wine spends a short period ageing in large, old oak barrels, which, along with lees contact lends it a subtle, delicate creamy vanilla note. Ideal with seafood, especially shellfish and oysters.
