Recalling the comfort of a ferry station during harsh conditions, the artist Chandler McLellan sought to imbue this pendant with a soft warmth in both materiality and luminance. A thick off white cotton crochet fabric has been stretched across the tiered framework of the fixture, naturally dipping in certain areas. As the weave eases and pulls, it creates
